Lee and Susan invite you to move beyond traditional watercolor methods to the wonderful world of acrylics and collage. This experimental class will include abstract mono-types and pours. We will create exciting beginnings to give our paintings exciting "environments".

Watermedia Workshop at Aurum Lodge, Alberta Canada October 13 ­ October 18, 2003
Located 40km E of Banff National park / 45 km W of Nordegg, of Highway 11. Aurum Lodge is situated at whitegoat lakes, in the eastern front ranges of the Rocky Mountains in the providence of Alberta at an elevation of 4,500 ft. The site of Aurum lodge overlooks Lake Abraham and is surrounded by forest and mountain peaks.

Access by car is available year round. International airports are located in both Edmonton and Calgary. The lodge is centered between the two and is about a four hour drive or 220 miles from either.

The workshop for this watercolor adventure is $495. Rates for accommodations, three meals and ALL taxes (12%) are based on double occupancy. Depending on room choices, rates vary from $59 per night to $85. Rooms are available on a first come first served basis.

Depending on weather, workshop will involve a combination of on-location painting, sketching, photographing and indoor classes. While some watercolor experience is helpful, all levels of artists are welcome. (See FAQ)
