INFORMATION ABOUT AIGLUN | |
The history village of Le Vieil Aiglun, dating back to the 15th and 16th century is situated at 2540 feet (775 m) between the Alpes and Provence region. 300 days of sun per year almost guarantees clear blue skies, clean air and a multitude of outdoor recreational opportunities including hiking, para gliding and 4-wheeling, just to name a few. The village is also an ideal base for visiting some of the most awe inspiring natural attractions in Europe, such as the Verdon Canyon, The Lake of Allos, The Lake of Sainte-Croix and The Plateau of Valensole. Other area activities include the famous Provencial markets and excursions to famous tourist destinations like Moustiers Sainte-Marie (55 km), Lurs (33 km) and Thoard (21 km). |
