A peaceful place surrounded by nature, with swimming pool and a small lake with fishes. The "Casale" is situated in the florentine hills of the Valdarno Inferiore, in the heart of Tuscany. Deep within a wood of verdant conifers, oak and chestnut trees, the Casale is very near Florence and other artistic cities like Pisa, Lucca and Pistoia. Bedrooms and two separate apartments are available:
The first is made up of 3 bedrooms with 8/9 beds, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen/livingroom with a large open fireplace. The second apartment is a restored barn made up of 4 bedrooms, 8 beds, 3 bathrooms, living room and kitchen.
The houses are surrounded by a private park with conifer, oak, chestnut woods and other latifoglie grove. The undergrowth is rich with ferns, mushrooms, cyclamens, and several specimens of orchids. A small lake with fishes and amphibians is also a place where herons and egrets eat or have some rest. Kingfishers and jays nest here, under cover of darkness foxes, weasels, porcupines, if you are lucky istrici, may come and visit you. Rare and wonderful butterflies live and reproduce here.
In few minutes’ walk you can easily reach the protected humid area of “Padule di Fuccecchio”.
