We stayed in many B&B's on our travels in New Zealand which was our first visit. When we think of them all, Trelawn stands out in our minds the most. The hosts treated us as family and nothing was too much trouble and the views and garden were something else.!! We would have loved to have stayed longer. Carol Bowring.

THIS IS HEAVEN ON EARTH. I HAVE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO STAY AT TRELAWN EVERY YEAR FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS. THE SETTING IS BREATHTAKING, THE GROUNDS AND GARDENS THE SAME. WHEN IN THE QUEENSTOWN AREA YOU MUST MAKE TRELAWN PLACE A MUST!

I THINK IT IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE PRETTIEST, WELL KEPT, PLACES IN NEW ZEALAND. THE GROUNDS ARE EXQUISITE THE VIEWS SPECTACULAR AND THE HOSTS LOVELY. I HAVE STAYED THERE FIVE TIMES FROM TWO NIGHTS TO EIGHT NIGHTS PER VISIT. IT IS SOMETHING I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO DOING ON OUR TRIP TO NEW ZEALAND...

Trelawn is truly an extraordinary place. The setting, property and gardens are exquisite. We enjoyed the spa (which overlooks the river and up to the hills) under the stars and also while watching the morning sky come alive. The innkeepers could not be more welcoming, warm and helpful. (Examples: Prior to our arrival in New Zealand, they offered suggestions for our itinerary and insights to local weather. Once there, they set up a terrific helicopter ride for us; the heli picked us up and dropped us off on the property's lawn. Michael also taught me how to use my digital camera.) They are well-traveled and we wished for more time to extend our stimulating conversations with them. We felt we had access to a bit of paradise and the comforts of home, all at once. We certainly plan to return, to visit a special place and two special people.

.... Trelawn Place situated about 3 kilometres outside Queenstown was a home of outstanding charm where Nery and Michael Howard have a property in commanding position high above the river directly below their garden. The lodge was lovely, the use of an outdoor hot spa was great, and breakfast with other interesting guests made the stay an outstanding experience !
