We felt like it was "home from home". I would definitely recommend this B&B. Loved our time there! Well done!

My son said on leaving 101 Addison Road "you should have five stars", and that sums it up perfectly. This is a wonderful place to stay - the property is a beautiful Victorian house (not that common in Australia!) and is impeccably maintained. Every detail has been carefully thought out, creating an ambience of peace and tranquility just a short walk from the bustle and excitement of Manly Beach. The host, Jill Caskey, is very welcoming and is always keen to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. She also produces the most wonderful breakfasts! (even venturing to make pancakes after my children dropped a few hints) The accomodation is also very spacious, with a large living room and even a grand piano. Books abound, but it is not stuffy - the doors and windows are always open, which is particularly pleasant at night (although the parrots always wake you early in the morning). We were genuinely sad to leave, and are already counting the days to our next visit. Save yourself some time and just book this B&B - you will not be disappointed!

Our family requirement for January 2004 was for a "Home away from Home". My husband and I now live in Perth, and our daughter, who lives in London, was being married in Sydney. We chose 101 Addison, a gracious Cottage with delightful furnishings in most comfortable rooms. We stayed there for 7 days very happily during all the pre-wedding functions. Our Hostess Jill Caskey was like one of the family, helping cope with little hiccups that arose, definitely beyond her call of duty. The environment was perfect for great photos for our family Albums.

This Victorian b&b is devine with a very large double bedroom and lounge/ dining room very tastefully decorated and furnished with some antique but usable furniture. A grand piano is also available for those with talented fingers. It is located in a peaceful area of Manly but within a short distance of the beach, shops and restaurants. The ferry to Sydney takes about 25 minutes and is a most wonderful way to visit the city centre with wonderful views of the Sydney sky line, harbour bridge and opera house. Jill, the host, is most obliging and helpful and provides a very good healthy breakfast of juice, fresh fruit, cereal,a varied assortment of bread and jams, coffee and a variety of teas. This is an ideal b&b for peace and relaxation. Would I visit again?. Definetly. Would I recommend it to friends?. Only if their holiday did not clash with my intended visit. Parking is a problem in the area but Jill does have parking space for one car. Marks out of ten. Eleven.!

This was by far the best bed & breakfast that we stayed in during our trip to Oz. Jill was so hospitable and kind, from organising the shuttle bus from and too the airport, recommending restaurants, places of interest and even cooking Phil a special breakfast to celebrate his 40th birthday. Addison 101 is a fabulous place, welcoming and a great retreat away from the city life of Sydney. Highly recommended to couples of all ages and families. You will not be disappointed with Addison 101.
