My wife Valerie and I recently stayed in one of Mt. Baker Lodgings private cottages and were very impressed. The cottage was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend Mt. Baker Lodging to anyone visiting the Mount Baker area. Roger & Valerie Alberts - Alexandria, Virginia

Never stayed at a B&B before. Didn't know what to expect, but wanted something different when visiting the French Quarter. Also, I was traveling by myself and as a single woman, was skitish about safety issues in New orleans. What I experienced, was more than i ever expected. First came the warm greeting at the door with a string of Mardi Gras beads to put on. Next I was offered a free glass od wine, beer or soft drink. Then Mary highlighted a map for me to use, so I'd know where I'd feel comfortable walking alone at night. After she showed me my room, she showed me where i could make a cup of coffee or tea any time, the refrigerator for "doggie bags" and ice, then she took me into their knock out courtyard where I plopped into the hammock. When I asked, she was patient enough to tell me the story of their Cuban banana tree, and about the history of the house, when it was a high class bordello. If that wasn't enough, then Jen walked me into the French Quarter, down to Bourbon St. Told me about all the music, clubs, food, and neat thigs to see and do the week I was there. Everyone always had the time and patience to answer my many questions. I'll NEVER stay at an hotel again. If all B&B's are like this one, you get more than your money's worth. AND, I felt right at home. CC

My wife Carolyn and I recently stayed with the folks at Mt. Baker Lodging. Being avid b&b goers, we had never stayed in a private vacation home before, and were admittedly a bit apprehensive at first. Our apprehensions were quickly dispelled, however, when we arrived a our private "Enchanted" cottage. Cabin #12 is a great little getaway...very private, fully equipped, tastefully appointed, and exceptionally clean. The staff was very friendly & courteous. We would highly recommend Mt. Baker Lodging to anyobne seeking accommodations in the Mount Baker area. On a scale of 1 to 10, these guys are an eleven! Rick & Carolyn Gustafson - Richardson, Texas.

My husband Randy and I just completed a 7-night stay in Mt. Baker Lodging's cabin #12. Being avid B&B goers, I must admit that we were a bit aprehensive at first about staying in a "self-catered" cabin. Our concerns were quickly dispelled, however, after settling into our cottage-in-the-woods. This fabulous cottage was impeccably clean, well equipped, and extremely well maintained. The staff at Mt. Baker Lodging was very gracious, and treated us like old friends. We quickly discovered that staying in a private cottage does have its advantages...like getting up in the middle of the night, sans apparel, and fixing a snack! The outdoor hot tub was absolutely fabulous after a day of rather aggressive hiking. Mt. Baker Lodging also arranged to have a licensed massage practioner provide deep tissue massage after our white water rafting trip. We really enjoyed our stay here...this was a great find! We would highly recommend Mt. Baker Lodging to anyone visiting the Mount Baker area! Sarah & Randy Covington - Pendleton, OR

My husband George and I just completed a 7-night stay in Mt. Baker Lodging's Cabin #16. This great little "gingerbread cottage" was an absolute delight! Very well maintained, well stocked, and impeccably clean. We especially enjoyed the private outdoor hot tub and the outdoor gas grill. Being pet-friendly was a definite plus, as is it very difficult to find pet-friendly accommodations of this caliber. The only thing that could have made our stay more complete was more time to spend staying here! This place gets an A+! We will definitely be back! Deidre and George Anderson - Falls Loop, TX
