The hosts are friendly and the accommodation, even though it does not have full ensuite facilities, is very good value for money. The room is clean and tastefully furnished. It is within walking distance of trains and buses. There is very good attention to details such as the provision of a guest fridge, hot water bottle, first aid kit, shoe polishing kit, sewing kits and iron facilities which are all clearly displayed and readily accessible, not like some other places that the guests have to ask for it. The whole place feels like home and we are welcomed like family. Their service is very personal but discreet at the same time. They know when to be around and give advise and when to stay out of the guests' way. We have indeed tried to book again on our return trip but it was booked out. We stayed in more expensive B&Bs on our trip but the Manna House remains our favourite. Definitely recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Manna House, as did our children. We were made to feel so welcome and wished we could have stayed longer! The food was wonderful and our hosts were very informative about the local area and London in general. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable and the whole house had a really nice friendly atmosphere. We would strongly recommend this to anyone wishing to stay in London. Although it is not in the centre it is very easy to get into central London as it has good rail links, and also it is close to historic Greenwich which is well worth seeing - particularly the Cutty Sark and the craft market. We had a wonderful time - a big "thank you" to our hosts!

We were delighted to find out about and stay at Manna House. Lynne and Rob were wonderful hosts, and made us feel welcome. When we first arrived, they invited us to sit in their lovely back garden and visit with them while drinking tea. The house itself is 100+ years old and has a nice, old-timey feeling while being fitted with all up-to-date furnishing and decorating (even double-glazed windows which shut out the street noise). We appreciated all the thoughtful touches, everything from coffee, tea and cookies in the room; and fridge, ironing board, sewing kit, shoe-shine kit, etc., right outside the room. Our room had a sink and shower in it, which was very efficient, and I loved the big Victorian bathroom across the hall. Our breakfast was good, and prepared us for a day of heavy sight-seeing, each day. We would recommend taking a taxi from the train station when first arriving with lots of luggage. We didn't, got lost enroute walking, and arrived thoroughly exhausted. That was the only flaw in a delightful three days stay, and was our own fault.
