This is truly a "homey" place. The host offers you a good strong cup of tea when you arrive. In the morning he'll fix breakfast for you ... or you can get cereal and toast for yourself. You can visit with others who are passing through or the host if he's not too busy. Our room had its own TV and was comfortable...not too big, but good for the price. Be sure and tell the bus driver (city bus...costs 1.5 pounds) that you want off at the Hanforth Library. We told him that the first time we went and had no problem. The second time we gave him the address ... and had to walk for 1/2 hour to find it...carrying our luggage! Big mistake!
