WE LOVED THIS PLACE SO MUCH WE DONT WANT TO TELL TOO MANY PEOPLE OR IT WILL ALWAYS BE FILLED WHEN WE WANT TO GO. OUR HOSTS FRANCA AND VICTOR WERE SO GRACIOUS AND THEY HAVE BECOME FRIENDS. IT WAS OUR MOST WONDERFUL B AND B EXPERIENCE EVER AND WE HAVE TRAVELED EXTENSIVELY FOR THE LAST 30 YEARS. WE ATE APRICOTS OFF THE TREES AND FRANCE GAVE US A JAR TO TAKE HOME AND VICTOR AFTER HEARING I HAD A CORKSCREW COLLECTION GAVE ME ONE FROM HIS COLLECTION. WE ATE DINNER WITH THEM TOO AND FRANCE IS A SUPER CHEF. ONE NIGHT WE HAD WHAT IS COMPARABLE TO A TARTE TATIN MADE WITH ENDIVE AND GOAT CHEESE. I GET HUNGRY JUST THINKING ABOUT IT. I HAD 3 PIECES AND THEN SOME FISH SOUP. BREAKFAST EGGS ARE MADE WITH A TOUCH OF CUMIN AND DELICIOUS. WE HAD PLANNED TO EAT IN ONE OF OUR FAVORITE 2 STAR RESTAURANTS OUTSIDE OF AVIGNON AND CHOSE INSTEAD TO HAVE OUR SECOND MEAL WITH OUR HOSTS. WE ALSO TRIED TO SHIFT OUR PLANS WHEN RETURNING BACK TO PARIS AND STAY ANOTHER NIGHT, BUT THEY WERE FILLED OF COURSE. IT WAS A WONDERFUL WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. THERE WAS A LOVELY POOL THAT WE NEVER HAD TIME TO TRY OUT AND DIDNT EVEN KNOW THERE WAS A DVD ETC AS WE STAYED UP LATE WITH OUR HOSTS AND THEN WENT DIRECTLY TO BED. OUR BED WAS COMFORTABLE AND THE ROOM WAS LARGE AND REMINDED ME A LITTLE OF A CASSATA IN TAOS. I LONG TO GO BACK THERE AND BE AT PEACE AND WATCH OTHER PEOPLE GATHER THE APRICOTS.

You guys were WONDERFUL!! I wouldn't change anything about the experience of staying with you! My only fear is that the rest of the world will catch on and there won't be a room avaliable the next time I can make it over to France. What loving, generous people are in this family!! You were so willing to share you're slice of heaven with us making us feel right at home. Some highlights were the daily feasts Franca called breakfasts, apricot jam, the pool, and the recommendations for day trips (Uzes was my favorite!!). Did I mention the wine yet?! Oh yes the WINE!!!! My Mom and I will cherish the memories of your home forever...or until next time!!

Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and for the delicious apricot jam at breakfast. We plan on coming back next year and this time, we would love to have dinner at your table.

Seven members of my family visited Le Mas Hardi together and had such a wonderful experience that we are already planning to return for my mother's 80th birthday! Victor and Franca are extraordinary hosts. Their daughter, Adriana, was also extremely helpful planning our trip. The food was outstanding. Franca prepared an exquisite meal on our second night that included her endive tatin and delectable duck! On our last night, we enjoyed her wonderful lasagna (recommended by Adriana!). Apricots were just ripening and were enjoyed as well. We traveled with Victor on a few mornings to a nearby village (Montfrin) to buy croissants for breakfast and enjoy coffee at a local cafe. We truly felt like staying there permanently! We will return!!! It was, without a doubt, the most relaxing vacation!

Victor and Franca were the best hosts possible. We were a group of five women who stayed at Le Mas Hardi for six days. Each morning we enjoyed wonderful breakfasts of fresh baked bread, eggs, orange juice. Victor and Franca gave us excellent tips on where to go for our day trips around the area. The town of Uzes was a favorite, and it is not even written up in many tour books. Franca is an excellent cook, and we enjoyed several evening meals there as well. The home was beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. I cannot imagine that any place could be better!
