Lovely house which has been tastefully renovated and refurbished. Beautiful, peaceful location. Wonderful home grown food.

Staying at La Clergerie is a real treat - and definitely 'something else' when compared to most people's expectations of B&B. The hospitality was great. Really excellent dining is La Clergerie's raison d'etre, but if you want to just relax and enjoy wonderful Normandy countryside at your own pace, you can - it's right there.

My husband and I stayed at La clergerie in May 2006. I can truly say that this was one of the best B&B we have been to. It is an old manor yet decorated with all modern amenities with a great eye for detail. The decor is cozy, elegant and luxurious with lush confortable bedding. Breakfast was excellent, it included different types of bread, french cheeses, cold meats as well as coffee, juices and yogurts. If you are looking for a beautiful, rocantic place to relax in the beautiful french country side this is definately the place to go to.

Christine was charming, helpful and entertaining. She anticipated all our needs in advance. The house has been beautifully restored and furnished. It was a delight to be welcomed by a cozy fire on a cold rainy day when we got 'home'. We would definitely stay at the Clergerie again.

This B&B is first-class. No detail was overlooked in making our accommodation perfect for a comfortable stay. What is so very nice is that the host has several options available for "more than two" travellers. Within the house is self-contained space for up to six, so we plan to bring additional members with us on our next visit to La Clergerie. Besides, we promised the friendly dog, Daisy, that we would be back and one can't go back on one's word! George and Betty Poehlman North Carolina, USA
