The proprietor is a long-time resident of Marblehead. There is no better place to stay where you can find out all about the "hidden treasures" of this beautiful historic seaside town.

We have frequented B&Bs in Europe, Hawaii and the Mainland, USA. Harborside House has provided our most most enjoyable experience of them all. Susan Livingston is the most gracious, knowledgeable host and seemed to anticipate all our needs. We looked forward to the home-baked goodies and healthy breakfasts every morning! The house is charming and renders a warm comfortable feeling. Her location in the heart of historic Marblehead was a huge plus for walking self-tours. We have stayed there twice, and will continue to make it our base everytime we visit New England!

We have stayed at Harborside House three times and it quickly became our first choice in the area. Our visit to Marblehead is usually tied to a visit to the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem. The drive from Harborside House couldn't be easier. Meanwhile, it was our great pleasure to find that a visit to Marblehead and a stay at Harborside is a treat in itself. It's a toss-up between bedrooms: both are very comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast is delicious; the coffee a good start. Susan Livingston is welcoming and gracious; we feel like friends. Since our first stay we have gone out of our way to recommend it to our friends here in New York.
