This is a original Provencal receipt and is often used at a French aperitif and usually home made.

5 lt white wine
1 lt alcohol 45%
10 lemons
700 grams sugar
2 vanilla sticks

Put the wine, the alcohol, the sugar and the vanilla in a large bottle. Squeeze 9 lemons and put the juice in the bottle. Slice the 10th lemon in pieces and add it to the other ingredients. Shake it once in a while during 4 days. Filter it and put it in sterilized bottles. You can consume it directly.
