INFORMATION ABOUT COULTERVILLE | |
Coulterville is a historic city located in the high sierras in between the California Gold Country and Yosemite National Park. The cities central location provides a wonderful resting place from which to base your explorations of the area. Area activities include all water sports including white water rafting, hiking, biking, golf, hang gliding, antique shopping, a local museum, or just relaxing while enjoying the views and peaceful atmosphere. Attractions of note include Yosemite National Park, Columbia State Park, Lakes McClure and Don Pedro, California Caverns, and California's Gold Country. Yearly festivals include the Coyote Howl each May, the Joaquin Murrietta Days each September, and he Victorian Christmas each December. |
