The historic (built c. 1907) Goose & Turrets Bed and Breakfast is a slow-lane place for fast lane folks. Emphasis is placed on both Bs: comfortable Beds and bountiful Breakfasts. Your stay begins with afternoon tea with sweets and savouries, a stroll in the garden, help with dinner reservations, and you will sleep in a special room dedicated to some of the hosts' interests: hummingbirds, airplanes, antiquities, etc. All rooms have modern, private baths.
In the morning, you will feast on a 4-course breakfast and, if you wish, get pointers on what to do for the day. The inn is not far from San Francisco, Berkeley, Santa Cruz, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and uncrowded beaches, nature preserves, and hiking trails. Opportunities for fishing, golf, and horseback riding are also nearby.
