Chattanooga, the 4th largest city in Tennessee, is conveniently located on the junction of 4 major highways on the south of the state – right on the border with Georgia, about 120 miles north of Atlanta, GA. The city is known for its 145-foot waterfall, the world largest fresh water aquarium, and beautiful mountains. The visitors will enjoy whitewater canoeing, golfing, downtown shopping and strolling. Those interested in cultural attractiond can visit Chickamauga Battlefield, Tivole Theatre, home to the Chattanooga Symphony, Opera and Ballet. Other theaters are located in the Chattanooga Theatre Centre. The Bluff View Art District is home to a variety of Art Museums and Galleries. Other area attractions include Lookout Mountain where visitors can explore caves and rock climb, The Zoo at Warner Park, Tennessee’s largest mall – Hamilton Place. |
