The « Clos de la Barre » is situated directly on the village main square. Basly is, -5 Km from Courseulles sur mer and the new Canadian Juno Beach museum, - 4km from St Aubin sur mer with its Casino, at 3km from the Canadian cemetery of Reviers, -5km from Douvres la délivrande, the English cemetery and the beautiful Basilica. Caen and the Peace Memorial is less than 12km. Basly is the perfect central point to visit the Côte de Nâcre, the Bessin, the D-Day beaches and the lower Normandy in general. To the East, Honfleur at about one hour drive and to the west, the « Point du Hoc » where the Texas rangers escaladed the cliff and to the South, the Swiss Normande and Falaise are less than an hour drive. Bayeux is at 25km . Le Clos de la Barre is located at the center of it all.
Le Clos de la Barre offers four selections of room sizes and prices but all with total comfort: complete bathroom en suite with shower or with full bath and seperated shower, toilet, hairdryer. We offer as well rooms with twin beds of 80 cm. The Rose bedroom has a large bed of 1.80 m or two twin beds of 90 cm each. All bedrooms are soundproof and fully insulated. Breakfast is served from 8.30am till 9.30am in the common lounge where during chilled evening you can relax in front of the fireplace. The fully set kitchen will allow you to prepare light snacks or reheat precooked meals.
Washing and drying machines are at your disposal. Parking is available in quantity in front of the « Clos de la Barre » on the village square.
