Happy Days Bed and Breakfast is located on the outskirts of the village of St Méard de Gurçon. The village is situated between St Emilion and Bergerac, both of which are renowned for their wine and food. The closest riverside towns are Montpon-Menesterol and Ste Foy La Grande. Both have a full range of supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars. The inn is within walking distance of a fine restaurant "le Pressoir", post office, bakers, tabac and petrol station, hairdressers, butchers and small shop. There is an equestrian centre in the village.
The property is a recently converted barn comprising of two bed and breakfast rooms, one studio apartment, a one-bedroom apartment and a two-bedroom apartment. (The apartments can also be used as bed and breakfast rooms as well if needed). All bedrooms and apartments have en-suite bathrooms. The two upstairs bed and breakfast rooms and the one bedroom apartment lead onto a sun terrace with fantastic views of the next village of St Remy sur Lidoire. The two-bedroom downstairs apartment is designed for families, as the second bedroom has three single beds. The studio apartment is situated next to the family house with French doors leading onto the garden. There is a large breakfast room with kitchenette and a game room. The outdoor pool is an ideal spot for cooling down when temperatures are up to 40 degrees, and a large eating area with pergola. The pergola has lights for those wanting to enjoy an evening sat in the garden with a glass of wine or two!
