We offer exceptional Bed and Breakfast and Gite accommodations in a restored Farmhouse (in Tuffeau stone) dating from 1680.
The property extends to 20 acres of grassland, beautiful gardens and a heated outdoor swimming pool!
La Prairie is ideally situated for visiting all the famous Chateaux and Vineyards of the Loire Valley, as well as being close to the 'Cadre Noir' Equestrian centre at Saumur.
Poitiers and Futuroscope are within easy driving distance and the beaches of the Sable D'Olonnes are about 1hr 45 mins away!
All the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and are extremely large, comfortable and inviting.
They are furnished with Antiques from various regions of France, stripped polished floors or traditional 'tomettes'
with rugs.
Our two gites (cottages) can be hired for a minimum of 3 nights. One (Glycine) is suitable for 3 people with sitting area, small kitchen, bathroom and overlooks the swimming pool. The other (Lavande) has two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, sitting room and bathroom. These, too combine comfort and style thus ensuring you have the best holiday ever!
