| | DESCRIPTION | | |
Le Prieure at Chateau de Biron is a luxury Bed & Breakfast, located in a hilltop village in the beautiful Perigord region of southwest France. The area is known for its medieval towns, bastides and villages, its ancient caves of earliest mankind, its beautiful, unspoiled countryside and its temperate climate, with abundant sunshine, making it one of the world's foremost wine-producing regions. Its 4 suites and apartment are both beautiful and luxurious, with ancient fireplaces, ensuite elegant bathrooms and breathtaking panoramic views from every window. The building is historically significant, dating--as does the chateau it faces--back 1000 years. The ancient bread oven the monks used in the 1500s to prepare bread for the village remains at the property. Sunsets are breathtaking. Le Prieure's English owners offer guests a warm welcome. Every effort is made to accommodate guests' every need, with elegance and attention to detail making this a place one can never forget. |
