We are located in a beautiful romantic little valley just over 1 hour north of the Black Forest on the edge of a little village called Clausen. A large part of the surrounding area is covered by the nationally protected nature preserve called Pfaelzer Wald (Palatine Forest). All our rooms have private facilities (bathroom w/shower)& telephone. TV and/or minibar/fridge available. Smoking and non-smoking rooms and areas available.
Half board and/or Full board per request. Cities and areas of interest nearby are Heidelberg, Kaiserslautern, Pirmasens (less than 10 km), Trier (Roman History)& Ramstein (US military airbase). WW II historical sites (Maginot Line, Westwall Museum, Citadelle at Bitche/France) are less than an hour's drive away. Seasonal activities include beer- and wine festivals, bike & hike tours, scenic trails past famous rock formations, caves and majestic views.
