Situated in a typical village in the Monferrato region of Piedmont, an area where rural traditions and history are still alive, many castles present visible proof of its past. This country house consists of 2 restored farmhouses divided into eight charming apartments. Recently opened, it has been completely restored, following strict criteria in terms of old material recovery (old typical 'cotto' tiles for the floors and 'tufo' stones for the façade), but also offers travelers today's modern conveniences. The apartments offer different sizes and characteristics and have been decorated with strong, warm colors to obtain an intimate and informal atmosphere: each apartment has its own fireplace and independent heating. The fresco painted ceilings have all been beautifully restored, discovering more than one layer of different frescos according to the different ages of the house (the oldest part of it dating back to 1600). All apartments are big and very comfortable, and they are therefore also suitable for a extended stay (some of them have got two bedrooms each), so that even families or group of friends can find a convenient accommodation). They are fully equipped and furnished with charming and old pieces, the kitchen can be properly used and bed and bath linen are at disposal and can accommodate children. Parking is available in the courtyard. The main house serves also as a common area, a charming place where guests can have their breakfast or meet near the fireplace and taste a good glass of the famous Piemonte wines that the owners - on demand - will offer you from the production cellars they run nearby.
A new Wellness Center called DIVINUM has been opened exclusively for the guests. Outside swimming pool with jacuzzi jest and small pool for children. Garden with tables and BBQ. Mountain bikes renting. Charming meeting hall. Small country restaurant opening in spring 2005. |
