Scandeluzza Castle is one of the most beautiful and fascinating castles of 1700, belonging to the noble Pellegrini family. The bed and breakfast is located in Rome just a few minutes from the historical centre.
Prince Filippo Maria, the owner of Scandeluzza Castle will be happy to welcome his clients and to accommodate them in this place full of ancient history. Big lounges and halls decorated with frescos will be at the clients disposal, antique fireplaces and statues made in marble and antiques will offer you a fairy tale scenery.
The rooms feature luxurious, antique furnishings, private baths, marble fireplaces and more. A big garden and temples lit by torches will give to the clients a touch of elegance and preciousness.
Scandeluzza Castle has always been along centuries a unique and admired place that has accommodated the most important people in history.
”Botti” lounge, full of works of art is the room where you can have breakfast. The fireplace, always lit, lends it a historic and ancient atmosphere. An English breakfast will be served in “Bavaria” porcelain with silver cutlery, crystal and golden glasses from Boemia belonging to the Pellegrini noble family. A waitress will be at your service during the whole stay. It is possible to have breakfast served in your rooms.
The main lounge is about 500 square metres big and can comfortably accommodate 200 people.This lounge full of numerous works of art is the most fascinating and rich place of the castle. Inside it there are four busts made in marble representing the roman emperors,the famous” Tre Grazie” statue made by the Canova school, a big fireplace made in marble, two big Egyptian sphinx made in Carrara marble, tables made in studded marble of 1700, several sculptures made in golden wood of 1800, Michelangelo’s frescos copies, a holy water stoup made in Verona marble of 1800, an antique organ, an antique billiards, several antique icons and Persian carpets complete this luxurious and representative hall.
