| DESCRIPTION |

Villa Ithaca is situated 15 minutes South of the Moorish city of Granada, right on the borders of the Parque Natural de Sierra Nevada. The villa provides a comfortable base from which to explore the many delights of Southern Spain. The owners extend a warm and friendly welcome.
There is a South facing terrace with great views across the valley and a charming dining room where we serve breakfast.
Evening meals are available on request.
There is a patio garden with seating/sunbeds and shaded areas.The garden is well maintained to a high standard with many plants and flowers.
An excellent Bar-Restaurant and leisure complex, with large swimming pool, children's pool, playground, landscape gardens, picnic area, tennis court, mini-golf and mini-cars is just 4 minutes walk from the Villa.
A good supermarket is 2 minutes by car.
Padul is the largest village in the Lecrin valley, as yet unspoilt by tourism. It has several restaurants and bars, a bustling Friday market and 16th century church.
The main Fiestas are San Sebastian (January 19th, 20th), la Semana Santa with its famous Good Friday Easter procession lasting over 5 hours and an additional fiesta from September 24th to the 27th.
We can arrange a number of activities such as guided walks for both countryside and Granada City, tickets for Flamenco shows, tickets for the Alhambra, horseback riding, ski or snow boarding tuition, and adventure sports, such as climbing, descent of canyons, diving, etc.
The Alpujarra mountain region is 25 minutes drive away.
The surrounding countryside is superb for walking and bird watching. |
