How many visitors does IBBP.com receive?
IBBP.com registers 280,000-300,000 unique visitors each month to all of its pages. The home page receives 25,000-30,000 unique visitors per month. Also, each listings has a unique visitor counter and "since date at the bottom of the page.
How do you track visitors?
We track unique visitors by unique IP addresses. This number is the most true reflection of visits. We do not use hit counters that increment the number of visitors with each page reload.
How many search engines do you list with?
We list with over 1400 search engines including top international. The most traffic we receive comes from google.com, msn.com, and yahoo.com.
I already have a website why would you repeat most of the information that I already have there?
It makes easier for travelers to compare Inns. Also, many travelers will not even click thru to the website but rather will make a reservation or inquiry directly from the listing.
Once I list with IBBP.com how do I update my listing? And do I need to pay for updates?
You can update your listing 24/7 using our IBBP developed LIVE update system. Log in at https://ibbp.com/member.html. It,s FREE to all members.
Can I also update my photos as many times as I want, for example from summer to winter?
Yes, any time replace your photos as many times as you wish.
Since I already have a website can I add a link to it on my listing? And do I have to pay extra for it?
Yes, you can add a link to your personal website, but not to your Inn listing on another guide. No, this is FREE for all IBBP members.
I don't have a website does it makes my Inn less marketable on IBBP.com?
No, it does not. Since all of our listings are in the same format the travelers can get all information they need from the IBBP listing. We do suggest that you have at least 4 photos for your Inn. Two photos are included in the listing, additional photos are $10.00 per year per each for up to 8 photos.
My city is not listed on your pages can I still join IBBP.com?
Sure! We will add your city page as soon as you submit your information and pay for the listing! We will also add a new country if your country is not yet listed on IBBP.com.
My city has 10 listings already and my Inn if listed alphabetically will appear on the bottom is there any way I can be listed first?
Yes, we list listings with the most photos on the top of the city page and then alphabetically.
I offer several special package deals to my guests during the year can I add them to IBBP.com and to my listing? Is there any additional charge for that?
Yes, you can add as many specials as you wish during the year. It,s FREE for all IBBP.com members. You can do it in your member area page at https://ibbp.com/member.html. Your specials will appear on our highly trafficked page at https://ibbp.com/millennium.html and will be linked from your listing. The announcement of specials is also emailed to our opt-in subscribers list of 6000+ once a month.
I have a website but I am not computer-literate and I do not like to fill forms online can I still join IBBP.com?
Sure! Just fill three lines on this page https://ibbp.com/expresssub.html and send us a payment and we will build your listing from your website.
Many of my guests leave comments in our guest book is there any way we can add them to our listing?
You can direct your guests to leave FUTURE comments on IBBP.com. To do that all they need to do is to find your listing on IBBP.com (search by name, city, state or our geographical index pages) and then click on Review This Bed & Breakfast Under topics for travelers. Once we receive a few reviews your B&B will have a star rating (min 3.5 max 5). We will then add the IBBP star graphic to your listing and add your inn to our Rated Inns page at https://ibbp.com/newrev.html
My Inn is so new that it is not been rated or licensed yet can I still join?
We require the Inn or Bed & Breakfast to have a city or other appropriate local business license to be able to become IBBP member. Ratings, which are separate from licensing, can be waived in lieu of 2 reader reviews. Ask your guests to post a review on IBBP (see above on how to do it) within 2 month of joining IBBP.com. We reserve the right to remove any listing without a refund if we suspect or establish unlawful activities or deception.
I'm not comfortable with the traveler reviews. What if a bad review is posted?
IBBP.com maintains this policy: if two negative reviews are received that we can substantiate with the innkeeper, the listing is removed from our guide. However, we do not post negative reviews to our site. We have been in operation since 1995 and have only had to remove 5 inns in this time.
Can I have a link to a map on my listing?
Yes, we will add a link to your Inn,s location on Yahoo or Mapquest Map.
How can you be the top guide on google, msn and provide all these benefits for only one flat fee while other B&B guides charge so much more for each feature?
We have a goal of becoming the BEST Bed and Breakfast Guide out there no matter how many new or old guides are getting in and out of the business. Because of our high renewal and new listing submission rate and an excellent brain power behind our internal system we are able to keep the fees low. However, we can not guarantee we will not be raising our fee sometime in the
future.
