The Inn consists of the main building that contains four ocean-view rooms, the great room, main deck with hot tub and stairway to our private beach. A separate cottage, built in the spring of 2002, and nestled into an old growth forest houses two more luxury rooms. Each room has a unique theme. Amenities in all rooms include king or queen beds, fireplace, private deck, jetted tub for two, ensuite bathroon with heated floors, down duvets and lavish robes. Wake up each morning to the aroma of fresh baked coffee cake.
The great room is a special focal point of A Snug Harbour Inn and is for the exclusive use of all guests. A wall of windows is all that separates you from the awesome view of the rugged Pacific coastline. It has a large custom-built harvest table where you will gather for breakfast every morning. An inviting conversation pit makes this a truly social room with a huge stone fireplace. A powerful telescope will bring whales, seals, eagles and distant ships up close. This room also has a light duty guest kitchen, TV and telephone available for those who wish. Small weddings can be held in this room or the Main Deck or even the helicopter pad on the private beach. The oversized deck is where guests can sit and relax after an exhausting day of activities.
If romance or adventure is in your heart the `The Stairway from the Stars' allows you to descend 85 feet down from the main deck to a small private and pristine pebbly beach. It has been left exactly as it was a thousand years ago. There are some terrific spots here to `pop the question' or perform a small wedding ceremony in a surrounding that would be difficult to duplicate anywhere in the world. |
