| DESCRIPTION |
|
"In Victoria, it would be difficult to find more comfortable or elegant accommodations than the Scholefield House," writes the New York Times Travel Section.
Centrally located on a quiet downtown street, three blocks from the Empress Hotel, our authentically-restored Victorian B&B is framed by the trees that line the wide boulevards. Guest rooms are furnished in luxurious period decor with romantic jacuzzi tubs for two. The five-course champagne breakfasts are served fireside in the Parlour and edible flowers decorate the abundant servings of eggs Florentine, French toast with Brie, smoked salmon and other entrees. Two favorite spots are the private Library where guests can enjoy a glass of sherry or tea and coffee and outside, an English herb and rose garden. Free wireless Internet access available.
Stroll to the Inner Harbour, restaurants, antique shops, theatre in Victoria’s flower-filled environment sometimes called “more English than England.” |
