| DESCRIPTION |
|
| Thurston House was the winter Florida get-away for wealthy businessman, Cyrus B. Thurston of Minneapolis. Built in 1885, Thurston House has been restored back to it's original splendor. The woodwork of pine and cypress is gleaming--boasting a magnificent built in server and wainscotting in the dining room, original hardwood floors throughout, six beautiful mantels, and wonderful wood paneling. Curl up in any one of the three cozy guest rooms and enjoy the comfort of a queen-sized bed and your own private bath or settle down with a good book in the reading area or conduct business at the desk with private phone. Each guest room O'Heir, Cubbedge, Hirsch, and Thurston is named after a family that previously owned the home. |
