INFORMATION ABOUT WALDOBORO

Waldoboro is a quiet, small village located on the Medomak River, midway between Damariscotta and Rockland and is about ten miles inland from the fishing village of Friendship. This quaint New England town offers visitors a historic downtown area with shops and restaurants. Other local attractions include the Waldoboro Historical Society Museum, the historic German Church founded by the settlers of Waldoboro, and the historic Waldo Theater. Outdoor activities include access to beaches and lakes in the summer and skiing in the winter.
