The new Winnetu Inn & Resort (opened in the year 2000) is the only property directly at spectacular South Beach on the magical island of Martha's Vineyard and just a short water-taxi, bicycle or car ride to the center of Edgartown. Our Resort is a 45-minute ferry ride from Cape Cod, 70 miles from Boston, and convenient to Cape Cod, Nantucket Island, Maine, and Newport, Rhode Island. Set on 11 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds (complete with dunes, a pond, and waterfall), The Winnetu provides spacious accommodations for families, couples, weddings, corporate meetings/
retreats, honeymoons, and family reunions. Our 50 air-conditioned studios and suites accommodate from 2- to 10-people and offer ocean-view private decks or patios, spacious living and dining areas, and kitchenettes/full kitchens. We also offer a 2-bedroom private cottage with an outdoor hot tub. Amenities include a private path to South Beach (250 yards away), a complimentary Children’s Day Program, a Children's Evening Program, an outdoor heated pool, tennis club (with pro), library with fireplace, putting green, life-size outdoor chess, yoga classes, fitness room, massage and spa services, a General Store, on-arrival bicycle and grocery delivery services, adventure day trips, and fine dining at our onsite Lure restaurant - offering casually elegant dining in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with an ocean view.
