The Gilded Age is on the National Historic Register, only 6 blocks from the Mississippi River. The rooms are large, and all beds are either queen or king. A full breakfast is served in the dining room each morning. The history buff will enjoy exploring caves, visiting Mark Twain's boyhood home, as well as Molly Brown's, the Rockcliffe Mansion, a riverboat dinner cruise or a dinner theatre. Mark Twain Lake is nearby for the fisherman.
