| DESCRIPTION |
|
| Nestled in three wooded acres in the heart of historic Waynesville, NC our spacious rooms, peaceful surroundings, cozy nooks, well-stocked library, and rambling gardens...all await you. Choose from five spacious rooms, tastefully decorated with antiques and reproduction. Walk downtown and browse through intriguing shops for antiques, books and gifts. Stroll through the art galleries, or savor the cuisine in local restaurants. The Blue Ridge Parkway is just 6 miles from our front door. Hike/bike on one of the many marked trails on the Parkway, in the Pisgah National Forest, or the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Take a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad or spend a day at The Biltmore Estate. Take in a play at our local theatre or be entertained by one our local jazz or blues groups while sipping wine, fresh brewed tea, or coffee from one of our coffee houses. And always check the current schedule of events…you may be fortunate to be here during one of our Main Street festivals featuring local artists, crafters and artisans, musicians, and of course, local fare! |
