INFORMATION ABOUT Toronto

The city of Toronto is located on the shore of Lake Ontario and offers bed and breakfast travelers world-class cultural attractions and urban endeavors. Toronto is an especially great destination for families as most attractions are child-friendly. Plus, it is an incredibly clean, safe and easy city to get around in, either on foot or by public transportation. Bed and breakfast travelers should include the landmark CN Tower and the SkyDome on their list of must-sees, then check out the Royal Ontario Museum, the largest in Canada and the Art Gallery of Ontario, with a fine collection of European and Canadian works. Funky stores and ethnic restaurants are best found on Queen Street West or for elegant boutiques and fine eateries head to Yorkville. Last but not least visit the Harbourfront, a complex of unique shops and restaurants right on beautiful Lake Ontario and then take a ferry to the Toronto Islands for a picnic and outdoor recreation.
