DESCRIPTION
Tennessee's far northeastern mountains are always beautiful, with wildflowers, fall leaves or snow. Here in America's first frontier (afer the 13 colonies formed the USA), you can grab a handful of stars, even though the inn is located in the small town of Mountain City (a mere 25 miles north of Boone, N.C.).
Hospitality, history and a wonderful house set us apart as do huge rooms, king and queen beds, whirlpool tubs for two or a large shower in a reasonably-priced Deluxe Room. Gas log fireplaces (also central heat/ac), and great soundproofing.
Furnishings are "traditional but never "stuffy-- NO bears or lace!" Rooms include robes, generous snack baskets, in-room cable TV, and scented candles.
Explore the Blue Ridge's hidden treasures less than one hour away or enjoy the three-state view from our porch. Delicious full breakfast.
