Other important stops include the capital of Ankara, the city of Antalya, on Turkey's central Mediterranean coast, which is a good base to explore the quieter beach towns, the resort town of Bodrum, Troy, Harran, the Valley of the Fairy Chimneys and the Gallipoli Peninsula. |
