Just 21 miles from Roseburg Oregon, 3 miles past Glide, Idleyld Lodge is the perfect destination for anyone seeking a mountain getaway, road or mountain bike ride, steelhead,salmon,or trout fishing.
The North Umpqua rivers tributary Steamboat Creek, is a world renown fly fishing area. A frequent fisherman from times past was author Zane Grey.
Diamond Lake and Crater Lake are only an hour away on Oregon State Scenic Highway 138. This North Umpqua Scenic Highway is one of the most beautiful highways Oregon has to offer. Deer and other wildlife abound as well as many magnificent waterfalls such as: Toketee, Lemolo, Falls Creek, Colliding Rivers etc.
Idleyld Lodge itself is rustic 120 year old structure featuring a knotty-pine interior, large river-rock fireplace to cozy up to in the winter, spacious rooms overflowing with heirloom antiques a large eatery/banquet room that is open to the public for dinning and reserving for special occations and events.
