Splendid canal apartment to let right in the old centre of Amsterdam for 130 euro per night.
This beautiful and stylish apartment is to let for holiday and business purposes. The apartment is situated in a quiet part on one of the finest and oldest canals of Amsterdam (Oudezijds Voorburgwal). The width and height of the apartment and the large windows afford a magnificent view of the canal and one of the finest and most famous canal houses (The House on the Three canals).
You are right in the middle of the old centre of Amsterdam. The well-known Flower Market, the Dam Square Palace, the bustling Waterlooplein market (Flea market), the Rembrandt plein, the old town hall of Amsterdam, the Amsterdam Historical museum, the old Beguinage (Begijnhofje), the Rembrandthuis, the Music Theatre and many other sights and objects of interest are just a stone's throw away.
A 10 to 15 minutes' walk will take you to the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Municipal Museum and the Concertgebouw (Concert Hall). You are then in the Spiegelkwartier with its many fine antique shops and art galleries. Because of its central location the apartment can be very well reached by public transportation.
The apartment is furnished in good taste and quality. The large living (45m) has a fine oak parquet floor and a vaulted ceiling. The kitchen part is in Italian design, fully equiped with microwave etc, and has an antique wooden dining table. The bathroom is modern and well-appointed.
The sleeping quarter, separated from the whole by an antique draught-screen, has two sumptuous beds with box spring mattresses. There is a large antique wardrobe. You can use television, fast wireless and there is a DVD-player.
Minimum booking 3 nights. Long term bookings possible.
In short, an ideal place to spend a few days or weeks in Amsterdam, either on holiday or business, or both!
