Prinx apartments are situated in the Amsterdam historical city centre. Most attractions are within walking distance or if you prefer, different tramlines will take you directly to the Museum Area (Rembrandt/ Van Gogh). The Central Station is just a 10 minutes walk away (Schiphol Airport - Central Station is 20 minutes by train).
While during the day a lively Amsterdam’s historical neighbourhood, the location is very quiet.
All the major canals are just around the corner. You are surrounded by typical historical houses.
A few hundred meters away, in the well-known quarter "de Jordaan", you can find street markets every Saturday and Monday (also flea market) and the Anne Frank's house as well. Along the Haarlemmerstraat/ Haarlemmerdijk you will find small shops and restaurants all the way to the Central Station.
The apartments have been recently renovated (2005). Besides the bathroom, each apartment has a living and dining room -with cooking facilities- facing the street and a separate quiet bedroom at the rear. In your fridge, you will find a bottle of Catalan sparkling cava wine (and orange juice) as a welcome present.
