| Quintessentially Chicago, this 1886 Victorian Mansion has been reborn as an Urban Inn. It is located on a quiet street of grand old homes in the lively Lincoln Park neighborhood, just 2 miles north of the hustle and bustle of Downtown. The Inn is casually elegant. All accommodations have eclectic, individual and Chicago themed decor. Each room or apartment, named after a Chicago author, has rich fabrics, interesting antiques and found objects. The 7000 square foot main house has five guest rooms and large common areas making it an ideal setting for your next off-site meeting, retreat or get-together. In the coach house, at the back of the property behind the garden, there are three self-contained apartments with Jacuzzis, fireplaces and full kitchens. Your innkeepers admit to being chauvinistic about Chicago. They invite you to bring your expectations and they will help you exceed them as you explore this most American of cities. |
