Gramercy Mansion Bed & Breakfast, located in historic Greenspring Valley, is only minutes from downtown Baltimore, but secluded in a world of its own. The tranquility of the country setting appeals to guests far and wide. Gramercy is situated on 45 acres of woodland trails and breathtaking gardens. Koinonia Farm, a working farm specializing in herbs, has been organically maintained since 1950. Guests can follow a map of the property’s trails to explore the farm. Birdwatching and hiking are among the numerous on-site activities enjoyed by guests. An Olympic-sized pool, tennis court, and basketball court are available for guest use as well.
Guests enter the spacious foyer, which features a graceful winding staircase that leads upstairs to elegant bed and breakfast suites, nine with private baths and two with a shared hall bath. Rooms boast comfortable king-size beds, fireplaces surrounded in period tile and topped with mantles of walnut or oak, and whirlpool tubs set in marble.
Visitors escape to the style and gracious living of an era past as they enjoy a sumptuous gourmet breakfast served in the dining room by the wood-burning fireplace or on the flower-filled terrace.
Gramercy Mansion and the adjacent Carriage House can be reserved for weddings, parties, and seminars as well. |
