| DESCRIPTION |
|
| On a ridge with enchanting Amish farmland views stands the Churchtown Inn, a stately National Historic Register mansion. Owners Diane and Michael Franco graciously host gourmet breakfasts in a sunlit garden room, evening sherry in their cozy den and elegant parlors, as well as murder mystery parties and other theme weekends. Enjoy the sound of Amish buggies trotting by this grand 1735 fieldstone home as you let your cares drift away by the fire in the den or next to the garden fountain. Rooms have queen-sized beds, antiques, Amish quilts, TVs and several have fireplaces. You may also choose to have dinner with one of our local Amish families for a truly unforgettable experience that few tourists get to experience. Or, on Saturdays, treat yourself to a lovely horse-drawn carriage ride through the rolling farmland. |
